Book Review: The Wight Stuff (Neither Rational Nor Heathen Book 1) by Tyra Ulfdottir I have not read many books in the last year, I have been on a audible book binge and have just been listening to them. When I found out about Kindle Unlimited, ten bucks a month for ten books you get to change out, I took the opportunity to try it out. The Wright Stuff caught my attention because of the tag line as a Rational Heathen. Now I have classified myself as a Transhumanist Heathen or a Science Heathen, so I get what it means to make distinctions. In Heathenism there is so many branches of thoughts and beliefs, and that is how it should be, but my thinking of a rational heathen talking about heathen issues got me excited.

The Wight Stuff is a really easy read. It this engaging and fast moving, with sensible arguments. Yes, you question how much Tyra really buys into a wight sitting on her car and talking to her, but it just kinds of goes into this book. She a space that doesn't make you question the concept all that much.constructed

Once I finished the book it made me think of one of my favorite books, Mask of Odin by Elsa Titchenell, and wondering if Tyra and her Rational Self had read it. So I reached out on her Facebook page and asked. She responded promptly that she had not, but would look into it.

All in all, a nice read. Very tongue in cheek, but good writing and very engaging.
